Give Your Imagination A 3d Animation Platform

Were you blown by the 3D graphics of the latest Shrek movie or The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Trader? How about the immersive experience provided by Batman: Ark ham Asylum? Why is a fence- sitter when you can be part of the action? These thoughts were topmost on the impressionable minds of hundreds of young people last month at the Edu-Fair 2011 organized by MAAC (Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematic). And of the 2,000 odd students who attended the event, as many as 172 were interviewed for jobs! Its an exciting time to be part of the animation industry. According to Nasscom and Ernst & Young, the industry in India is set to grow to $ 1.16 billion by the beginning of next year, with professionals having a way with mobile phone graphics ruling the job market.

With India becoming a major 3d animation and 2d Animation outsourcing hub favored by the international movie industry and thousand of International Firms, hire leading 3D Animation Company in India which is specializing in 3D animation designing, 3d modeling, 3D Architecture rendering, Character Animation, Cartoon Animation, Walkthroughs etc. Because of high animation demand, thousands of professionals are needed to fulfill the industrys demands, which are growing at the rate of 30 per cent. And it faces a shortfall of over 30,000 professionals.

So, a young person joining the Animation industry starts with a salary of around 1.2 lakh a year and soon graduates to 7 lakh a year.

Which brings us to the question: who can join the industry? Anyone with an eye for detail and decent artistic skills can do it.

Take the gaming industry. Artists and animators bring to life the characters, objects and environment in a game. They also decide on the ambient light, which makes or breaks a game. Their treatment of a character’s moves and emotions brings the game to life. Using their visual skill sets as artists, professionals then build on them with the help of various animation softwares such as Photoshop, Corel Draw, 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage XSI, Blender, Houdini, Mood and Brush.

MAAC, company had placed 645 students, or 57 per cent of its students, in 2009-10; in the last academic year, placements had gone up to 75 per cent with 1,409 students finding jobs. With so many jobs across the India and we can expect more people to get into the business of freelancing.

Winter Wedding Photography Is The Way To Go

Why Choose a Winter Wedding

There was a time when most weddings were held in the summer months. Couples traditionally planned for June when the weather was warm. Brides envisioned a wedding with the scent of honeysuckle in the air and butterflies fluttering on the breeze while they walked down the aisle to meet their partner. Nowadays however is not always the case as todays smart couples realise the benefits of having a cold weather wedding.

How Winter Weddings Differ from Summer

The brisk winter weather is a pleasant break from the oppressive heat that usually accompanies summer weddings. Outdoor in summer means flying insects that swarm or bite guests and of course the wedding party! Insects that require constant swatting and are irritating during the ceremony can destroy wedding photographs. Insects are not a problem in winter weddings because the weather is chilly.

Heat and humidity are not an issue in winter weddings. Brides and bridesmaids can enjoy the decadence of having gowns constructed of substantial fabric without worrying about the sticky summer heat. Grooms and groomsmen can wear tuxedos comfortably without feeling constricted and overheated as they would during warm weather months.

Winter weddings are more budget friendly than warm weather weddings. January through March are especially affordable months to schedule a wedding ceremony and reception as most venues consider wintertime off-season. December can also be an inexpensive time to schedule a wedding site although it is usually more popular than other winter months for a wedding.

Winter Photography

The glorious winter season provides extraordinary photographic elements creating a more enjoyable environment for the wedding couple. The bright holiday lights and invigorating temperatures produce an exciting and festive environment to celebrate a wedding.

Outdoor photographs are stunning in the wintertime. Winters pallor creates an exceptionally bridal theme for outdoor photographs. A snowfall that occurs on a wedding day lends an ethereal touch to wedding photographs as delicate snowflakes dance around the wedding couple. The ground has a soft layer of glittering snow and the trees glisten with ice. A winter setting is a dramatic backdrop for wedding photographs. The bright white background and cold weather brings a complimentary blush to everyones faces and is extremely flattering to brides, grooms and the wedding party.

Colorful shawls worn across the shoulders of the bride and bridesmaids introduces the beautiful wedding colors into an outdoor winter scene while keeping the women warm. Faux fur capes are lovely accessories to wear for winter wedding photographs. Tuxedos or even attractive sweaters look dashing on the groom and groomsmen when worn for outdoor wedding photographs.

Indoor photographs for winter weddings are unbelievably breathtaking. All wedding colors look especially beautiful in contrast to winters color palette and photographs taken indoors are visually spectacular. Winter is a time when deep, rich tones look especially elegant and soft tones are particularly lovely as they cast a warm glow in any venue. A wedding in a winter wonderland creates delightfully special and memorable wedding photographs.

Peter Steinhauer Photography In Hanoi Vietnam

Steinhauer, who was born in 1966 in Colorado, gave an evidence of his own artistic skills early, when in 1991 he got a degree at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver and then in 1993, when he got the Associate Degree of Photography at the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver. The Institute of Art, furthermore, awarded him the Alumni of Eloquence prize in 1994, and this was only the first of many prizes. For his works Steinhauer has already received the Award of Excellence in Photography in 1996, the “Mamiya Photo Education Awards of Excellence” in 2000, the Alumni Hall of Fame Award, which was awarded to him by the Art Institute of Colorado, and the Ford Foundation Grant for Work in Vietnam, in 2004.

The strong connection between the artist and Vietnam dates back to the 1993, when he moves to Hanoi to create his black and white photographs book about Vietnam. In 1997 he moves to another city in Vietnam, Saigon, then he lives also in Singapore, Washington and Hong King, where he is currently living, but he has always been very bound to Vietnam, and an evidence of this is given by his works, publications and exhibitions. Among his publications, for example, books like “Vietnam: Portraits and Landscapes and Enduring Spirit of Vietnam have been particularly successful, and the latter, which was published in 2006, has also been awarded a price as the best photography book of the year by Photo District News. Enduring Spirit of Vietnam is also the title of one of Steinhauers solo exhibitions, which was hosted by the Art Vietnam Gallery in 2006.

Apart from solo exhibitions, Steinhauers works have played an important role also in some group exhibitions, which have taken place all around the world, like The Ten Courts of the Kings of Hell – Vietnam Past and Present (London, 2005), Vietnamese Lacquer Painters, A New Age, an exhibition that was hosted between 2000 and 2001 in various countries all over the world, A Winding River. The Journey of Contemporary Art in Vietnam, which was organised in the United States, Passage to Vietnam, in 1994, and Vietnam: a decade in Images, which included works realised by Steinhauer and by the Vietnamese artist Nguyen Hoai Linh. This exhibition was organised in 2005 to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of normalization of diplomatic relations between the United States and Vietnam. Those who appreciate the wonderful pictures realised by the American artist will find his works also in many museums, galleries and private collections all around the world, and in all of his works they will certainly appreciate his main stylistic features, which have made him famous both in the United Stares and in Asia: with his sensitivity and precision he has realised black and white photos depicting Vietnams life and landscapes, and he has succeeded in documenting their changes in time.

Kids Martial Arts Summer Camp

Find the Ultimate Kids Summer Camp Experience For Your Child

During the summer months, parents always struggle to find a balance between giving their kids a break from the routine of the academic year and making sure that their activities are enriching.

Unfortunately, many summer camp programs are little more than play groups. They may offer some fun activities for the children but come up short when it comes to providing any additional lasting value.

Although conscientious parents want their kids to enjoy themselves, they also realize that the summer represents two and half months “” nearly a quarter of a year “” that are just as important for learning and personal growth as any other time of year. This is why choosing the right summer program is so important.

One great option for the summer months is a martial arts sports summer program. Although some people might think of this as just doing karate chops and kicks all day, the best martial arts sports summer programs offer much more.

In addition to fun daily martial arts and self-defense lessons, a martial arts summer camp will also provide invaluable life skills and personal development benefits, including:

Increased confidence
Overall self-esteem
Academic reinforcement
Enhanced fitness and coordination
Responsible bully prevention
Conflict avoidance
How to deal with peer pressure
Leadership and goal setting
Increased respect and self-discipline

These are qualities that can stay with a child for a lifetime, but there must be a process for nurturing them. That is why the best martial arts sports summer programs combine enjoyment with enrichment through creative projects, educational field trips, and leadership training.

In other words, instead of thinking about the summer as “play” and the school year as “work,” a great summer program with a positive martial arts curriculum will make learning (work) and fun (play) one and the same.

Research has also shown that learning is most effective when it is experiential “” or applied to real world experience and context. Instead of simply talking or thinking about how to apply the lessons of the martial arts to life, a great marital arts summer program will translate these lessons to each child’s life experience.

Martial arts sports summer camps should also accommodate different youth age groups and be run by a well-trained staff experienced in teaching youth martial arts, bully prevention, and character education skills.

With the proper combination of these powerful benefits, a high quality kids martial arts summer program may be the most valuable investment you can make in your child’s development this year.

Commercial Photography And How It Works

If you’ve ever been interested in commercial photography and just what it entails, search no further. Simply explained, commercial photography normally refers to advertising, or photography that is taken with the specific reason for earning profits, versus simply being art. Typically the aspiration is to look for the suitable picture that hopefully will market a specific thing or system, including foundation products, beverages, food and even passenger cars and much more. With commercial photography, presently there are really no boundaries, and this is really a line of work that is certainly frequently evolving as well as growing.

With commercial photography, the entire idea isn’t merely to create a pretty picture. The objective of commercial photography goes beyond the whole picture, and looks within the buyers responses. Commercial photography seeks to seize the feeling of the target audience, to show true emotion and count on not only intellect. This type of advertising photography typically goes for an emotional response, and photographers who can grab this are rare-and priceless.

Shoppers in our world tend to be frequently hounded by pictures and movies clamoring for their attention. Whether it’s through the radio, TV or magazines, the responsibility of commercial photography is to instantaneously capture their focus with a picture and ideally turn their interest into revenue for the customer.

Commercial photographers continuously need to adapt to the changing marketing environment. Shoppers have learned to tune out many, if not most, advertisements, so commercial photographers must find new ways to get their meaning across to potential customers.

Commercial photography is the chance to have an image make someone want to buy a particular product, and in today’s market place, commercial photography is in a myriad of unconventional places. As an alternative to just in a magazine, advertising photography is observed on the walls of buildings, in Web pop-ups and brochures. Merchants of almost any size can usually benefit from commercial photography, and there’s no better time than now.

One kind of commercial photography which is becoming more popular is large format photography. Large format photography makes use of special gear which allows people to enlarge the image to just about any size. Generally, this type of marketing and advertising is used in retail windows and on the side of structures to catch interest from a distance.

A marketing strategy that numerous businesses use while using commercial photography is to catch bright and vibrant colors. Whether it’s the cheerfulness of the illustrations or photos or simply just the vibrant color that attracts attention, this tactic is normally fairly effective at getting products off the shelves.

If you are responsible for marketing for your company or you have an interest in becoming a photographer, commercial photography is incredibly valuable. Regardless of how much advertising shifts, commercial photography is able to keep up to date and provide you with amazing pictures which will sell your products. If you have an image that resonates with your customers, you could have instantly created a correlation which is difficult to crack.

The Changing Styles Of Food Photography

Our appetites have changed over the years and no more is this clearly reflected than in food photography. The rise of organic, real food combined with a focus on healthier diets over the last decade has seen a major change in how food is presented through photography.

No longer are we quite as tempted by a plate of perfect looking, vividly coloured food rested neatly on a table. These days, food photographers set out to capture societys ever-changing tastes by keeping it real in other words – messy is in. Think of a slice of chocolate cake with icing oozing off the side, or a succulent steak with pepper sauce splashed almost carelessly about the plate. Today, this is how we like to see our food presented. This messy approach to food photography is now the favoured style for many in the food business.

If you look through a recent cook book or check out some recipe websites, then the chances are youre more likely to see this rather modern style of food photography, and its not just about being messy. Food photographers are more likely to use natural light instead of artificial studio lights and less props to keep the shot looking clean, simple and giving more focus to the food. Food photographers will also often use different effects such as extreme close ups and unusual angles to make the food appear more visually appealing.

However another style of food photography has emerged in recent years. Referred to playfully as food porn, the food photographer will style the food in a provocative almost sensuous manner to get the customers appetite truly whetted. Often this food styling is used to shoot exotic or rather indulgent dishes usually packed full of calories. This style is useful when marketing unhealthy food as it can be promoted as an indulgent treat, rather than trying to pretend to the ever-discerning public that it offers any nutritional value. The term food porn was first coined by feminist writer Rosalind Coward back in 1984 and has now become one of the buzz words for foodies everywhere.

Of course, the styles of messy food photography and food porn havent quite reached fast food restaurants. Pictures of perfect hamburgers and long straight fries still seem to adorn the menus and its advertisements. Most people arent going to head to your average fast food restaurant for an organic, natural meal – so messy food photography is deemed not as relevant in this environment.

Whatever is next for food photography, the one thing that will never change is its overall aim to sell to customers – and this takes real skill. The food photographer needs to visually convey not just the attractive appearance of the food, but also its aromas, taste and texture. This is not easy when you consider you cant actually touch, sample or smell the food from a photograph. However, if the image successfully captures all these elements, then this makes the food much more appetising to customers, in turn increasing their propensity to buy

The Famous Optical Artist – Bridget Riley an Op Art Pioneer

One of the major Optical Art (Op Art) proponents, British artist and printmaker Bridget Riley was born on the 24th of April, 1931 in London. Riley is most commonly known for her signature black and white oil paintings depicting geographic patterns that cause optical illusions which have become synonymous with the Op Art movement.

Bridget Riley was educated at the Royal College of Art from 1952 to 1955 and in these years her paintings were semi-impressionist and figurative. It was not until the 1960s that her signature style developed.

Riley’s black and white forms – painted in oil paint on canvas – gave viewers the impression of movement and colour due to optical illusions. Works such as -Movement in Squares- (1961), -Black to White Discs- (1961-62), -Loss- (1964), -Blaze 4? (1964), -Drift No. 2? (1966) and -Cataract 3? (1967) typically possessed such characteristics.

Bridget Riley’s paintings also had another feature – the potential for increased audience participation in the appreciation or display of the work of art. This was a hot topic in the 60s, when many performances were being classified as -happenings.- Happenings are unconventional and formless performances where audience involvement actually determines the course of the performance. Riley’s oil paintings were in a sense dependent on what the individual experienced on viewing them. Though the paintings were given names hinting at their subjects, they could be interpreted by the audience in any way.

Riley held the first of these exhibitions, which were pivotal in getting the world’s attention to the Op Art movement and Riley’s art, in 1965 at the Museum of Modern Art, New York City. She had already held her first solo in 1962 at Gallery One, London. Other exhibitions followed, but it was the 1965 show at New York that drew international recognition.

By 1967, Bridget Riley began to modify her style and thought of incorporating oil colour in her art. She began incorporating on colour stripes in an oil painting entitled -Paean- (1973), -Dominance Portfolio, Blue- (1977), -Ra2? (1981) and -Silvered 2? (1981). Crucial to this change was the extensive travelling she undertook from the 1970s. The hieroglyphic decorations she saw during her visit to Egypt played an important part in leading her to incorporate colour and contrast. Her later works are colourful and some of these bright paintings include -Fete- (1999), -Echo- (2000), -Carnival- (2000) and -Sylvan- (2000).

Among the other achievements of Bridget Riley is her distinction of becoming the first woman and British contemporary painter to receive the International Prize for painting at the 1968 Venice Biennale.

Using Artists Materials and supplies in a new and innovative way to pioneer a the Op Art movement in painting, Bridget Riley is undoubtedly one of Britain’s most important artists. Her geometric patterns skilfully created with Oil Paints have influenced many and have been appreciated by all sections of the audience.

House Painting Preparation Basics

Paints and preparations, and techniques vary per surface type, and unless you know what you’re doing, you can really make a mess of it. In this article, we will provide tips and tricks to help you get the job done right.

Step 1: Begin by replacing any and all damage surfaces, including wood, metal, stucco, or masonry surfaces. In this way, you will have a fresh canvas to work with.

Step 2: You will want to wash off all surfaces to be painted with a high pressure washer in order to reduce the amount of labor. Allow all surfaces to dry thoroughly.

Step 3: Use a scraper or heavy grain sandpaper to remove any blistered, loose, chipped, or cracked paint. Do so down to the base surface if necessary. You may want to use a small drop cloth to help catch loose bits of debris as it falls to the floor. In the case that the exterior requires the use of a sandblaster, be sure to hire a licensed professional.

Step 4: Once everything is sanded down, path all cracks, gouges, and screw holes to ensure the surface is even.

Step 5: Caulk all corners and seams in addition to areas above doors and window trim. Be sure to also tend to areas where the trim meets siding or spots where one type of material meets another, such as masonry to trim. This does not apply to areas where shingles or siding overlap or in between shingles. For best results, use a high-grade exterior caulk. Better substances such as those that are silicone based will work to bond to surfaces and ultimately resist breaking down.

Step 6: Use epoxy fillers to help repair issues in the woodwork.

Step 7: Purchase a stain blocking primer to cover dark stains. The same applies for mildewed area.

Step 8: Sand any and all glossy or rough surfaces. The coat requires a slightly rough surface to stick to. Be sure to remove any debris or dust.

Step 9: Cover or remove all light fixtures, electrical covers, plumbing outlets, and house numbers.

Step 10: Be sure to take down all screens. Once paint gets to them, it’s quite difficult to remove.

Step 11: Use drop cloths in order to cover items you do not wish to paint, including walkways, plants, cars, or property.

Step 12: Apply a paint primer to raw surfaces.

Step 13: Allow your primer to dry completely, and finish by applying at least two coats of exterior paint. Allow time for each coat to dry before adding another. Be sure to use a roller or spray machine for anything other than woodwork.
